Our design process starts with the functional needs and desires of our client then developed into solutions that create comprehensive living and working environments. Designs are based on the client’s visions and our expressions of those visions into uniquely individual spaces with an emphasis on sustainability.

Projects designed with Aging-in-Place conveniences use a Board Certified Occupational Therapist for consultation to ensure all functional needs are met.

We work with homeowners, architects, and builders during pre-construction and/or remodeling for residential, custom home design, small commercial, and vacation homes. Not all projects require major architectural changes and we offer unique concepts for existing spaces.

Terms such as “green”, “sustainable”, and “eco-friendly” can refer to a particular design or product made with sensitivity to the environment either in the manufacturing process and/or the finished product. We are constantly researching and obtaining new products such as fabrics, wall treatments, countertops, flooring, and appliances. Our cabinetry from Plain&Fancy and Breathe Easy will ensure your kitchen is beautiful and functional while our experience will create a design that is right for your green life and style.

Fancy stands for quality workmanship well within your reach. Each cabinet is built to order using time-tested methods like mortise and tenon construction, dovetail drawers and hand-rubbed finishes. Choose from cherry, pine, walnut, maple, and oak in an antique-distressed finish or custom-colored enamel. Plain & Fancy meets the required certification for the KCMA-Environmental Stewardship Program.

Breathe Easy Cabinets are constructed of non-toxic, environmentally friendly products. Cabinets are constructed using FSC Certified plywood that is formaldehyde-free. It is durable and moisture resistant, making it suitable for kitchen and bathroom cabinetry applications. Cabinets contain no formaldehyde or toxic glues. Only water-based glues and finishes are used, many of which are Green Seal Certified. Breathe EasyTM Cabinetry meets the requirements for LEED® credits and LEED® certification.
